1 solid way to figure out what to change in your life.

Mini series Trusting the process :Season 4 Episode 2

Today I continue our series by sharing with you how it's vital to know what you want to change in your life. We need to have a start point or a goal so we can see how trusting the process will work. A question to ask yourself here is:

What needs to be different in my life?

Many of us find it difficult to answer this question because it is so big. When we are younger we have a natural succession of steps through school. As adults our milestones are different and may not always be the next obvious thing to do. This may be why trying to answer that question can be hard.

In this episode I talk about a coaches tool that helps identify an area (or areas) in your life that may need changing. I couple this process with a few questions to dive deeper into so you can begin to map out what you DO desire in life for that specific area. For example, maybe it's your job that you would like to change. It is useful to begin to reimagine what you do want. This creates potential, moves you into hope and you can see more potential where there may have not been before.

I use the analogy of Indiana Jones movie scene where he must take a step in faith. There is a lot of courage, faith and commitment when you begin to trust the process.

If you use this technique, please share with me what came up for you? Did it surprise what needed to change? What can you see for yourself now that you have written down what you would like to have instead?
